In an article that appeared in the November 26 issue of Respiratory Report titled “Wright Humidification Mask Improves Patient Compliance,” the author stated that the Wright device improve O2 saturation, compared to trach collar and conventional facemask. According to the research, “The mean saturation for the conventional facemask was 98.93% ± 1.23; trach-collar 98.89% ± 1.23 and Wright System Mask 99.07% ± 1.24 (p=NS).
