Inova Labs Inc has released a new portable oxygen concentrator, the LifeChoice Activox Sport Model, which offers oxygen users a powerful, lightweight, and hands-free portable oxygen solution.
The device weighs only 3.9 pounds and features up to 5.5 hours of internal battery runtime, according to Inova Labs.
Activox Sport features unique Auto Mode and Pulse-Wave Technologies that work together to deliver oxygen congruent with an oxygen user’s inhalation rate and breathing pattern. This innovative technology is a gentle form of oxygen delivery that helps minimize the uncomfortable side effects such as dry nose and nose bleeds that are often associated with traditional delivery methods, according to the company.
The device delivers up to 3 liters per minute equivalent oxygen. The 5.5 hours of internal battery runtime can be increased by adding an external battery that provides up to 3 hours of additional battery runtime, the company noted.
Like the Activox Pro Model, the Sport Model is FAA-approved for in-flight use, and is reimbursed by Medicare and most private insurance plans as a non-delivery solution, Inova Labs added.
