Edison Nation Medical and the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) have announced a search for innovations in aerosol therapy for patients with respiratory disorders.

“Inhaled therapies are central to the treatment of a number of critical respiratory conditions which affect many millions of people in this country alone,” said Robert Grajewski, president of Edison Nation Medical. “AARC advocates on behalf of patients as well as respiratory care therapists and they’re committed to uncovering innovations that improve patient compliance and patient outcomes. We are thrilled to extend our partnership in this new direction to uncover innovations that make a difference for chronic lung patients and their families.”

AARC’s Executive Director Thomas Kallstrom MBA, RRT FAARC shared, “The AARC is committed to supporting its members by providing them with unique opportunities to share their creative and innovative ideas for consideration to be patented. We understand that respiratory professionals intimately understand the technology, patients’ barriers and challenges faced each day in administering aerosol treatments, and that its important to further explore their ideas and concepts for possible advancements in aerosol therapy and patient care. This AARC member offering is a benefit that requires a minimal investment of $25. We want to encourage our members to submit their ideas to Edison Nation Medical for evaluation, and enhance their membership and contribution to the medical profession.”
