3B Medical Inc has released two new full-face masks, the Elara and the Ecco.
The Ecco, 3B’s newest interface offering, is comfortable, easy to fit, and has superior sealing capability, according to the company. The Ecco is also designed for simple cushion replacement.
Meanwhile, 3B’s Elara interface is one of the lightest full-face masks on the market, the company says. With no forehead support, it offers greater freedom and visibility. The mask is ideal for patients preferring a clear line of sight without a forehead brace, 3B says.

I just received my 3B Ecco Full Face Mask and I am curious what the little outlet, on the side, that is covered with a plastic cap is used for.
Nothing is mentioned in the literature that I received.
Just wondering.
After a year my elara frame broke, but all else is fine. It seems odd I cannot just buy a replacement frame, hopefully improved to be more robust.
