Phillip Thaut, RRT-NPS, RPFT, is clinical specialist for adult ICU respiratory care services, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. In this capacity he oversees quality improvement, education, and training for adult respiratory critical care services. Thaut directs and coordinates research in adult mechanical ventilation, roto-proning, metabolics, and nitric oxide therapies. He has been a respiratory care practitioner in critical care for 36 years.
