The Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID) was established at Oklahoma State University in 2013 through an $11.3 million CoBRE (Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence) grant from the National Institutes of Health.

OCRID is becoming a focal point for expanding respiratory infectious disease research in Oklahoma. Lin Liu, regents professor of Physiological Sciences and director of OCRID, aims to build a mass of researchers to advance science and technology in the field of respiratory infectious diseases.
