The top ten finalists for the biannual Innovative HME Retail Product Awards have been named, according to a Medtrade news release. The awards, which are sponsored by HomeCare magazine, honor HME products that are especially suited for retail sale. The purpose of the competition is to promote and recognize products that contribute to providers’ bottom lines through cash sales.

The Medtrade news release notes the top ten finalists, which include the tital swivel chair from ComforTek seating, the PainAway wireless TENS device from Drive Medical, the OrthoSleeve from ING Services, and the Golden Cloud PR510 power lift and recline chair from Golden Technologies. Additional products in the top ten include: the Foot Gym from ING Services; iWALK 2.0 hands free crutch from IWALK Free; LC-358 lift chair with FirstUptechnology from Pride Mobility; and REMZZZs CPAP mask liners from REMZZZs,

The Viverity Pain relief pad from Roscoe Medical, SleepSaver from Stevenson Inc, and the breezy elegance retail wheelchair from Sunrise Medical are the other products included in the list of top ten finalists.

The products were reviewed by judges and will advance to an onsite judging round at Medtrade Spring, as noted on the Medtrade news release. The top 10 products will be presented in The Best New Retail/Cash Opportunities , an educational conference session scheduled for March 31 at 1:30 pm. Subsequent voting will determine the top three winners.

The conference session is open to all attendees at Medtrade Spring, which will be March 30 to April 1 in Las Vegas. General registration is still open, as noted on the Medtrade news release. On day one of Medtrade Spring, attendees can choose to attend any of three 6-hour workshops or one Fitter’s Course, and Monday will also have a full slate of 1-hour and/or 90-minute educational sessions available.

Monday and Tuesday of the event will be available to browse the expo floor at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
