Circadiance Inc has launched a smaller alternative to its one size fits most SleepWeaver Advance nasal mask: the SleepWeaver Advance Small Soft Cloth PAP Mask. The new design optimizes patient fit with reduced leakage and improved comfort, according to the company.
SleepWeaver Advance Small is about 15% smaller than the current Advance mask and is indicated for use with CPAP, Bi-Level and Auto-titrating systems on patients over 30 kg.
The new configuration extends the range of SleepWeaver Advance to include CPAP users with smaller facial features, like geriatric patients, children or those with smaller, flatter noses, according to the company.
