The company is best known for its line of audiometers and database software for hearing conservation. The spirometer software offers a shared database capability so that users can save their audiometric data right alongside their spirometric data.

Benson is manufacturing the CCS-200 because of the large number of companies that collect data from both audiometers and spirometers in the workplace, according to the company. Both the audiometers and the spirometers utilize the same software package by design.

“If you are already using a Benson Medical Instruments audiometer, the last thing you want to do is purchase a spirometer and then be required to store and organize your results in an entirely different software program,” said David Mayou, sales manager for Benson Medical Instruments.

“The vast majority of our customers want to be able to archive their audiometric and spirometric results in one, easy-to-use database. We fundamentally understood what these organizations wanted and the result is a seamless, uniform solution that is efficient at the most basic level.”
