Padmate, a global manufacturer of Bluetooth and Smart Devices based in Xiamen, China, has debuted its eBreathe respiratory training device designed for consumers, at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Not only does eBreathe offer respiration training, but it is programmed to inspect progress, run data analysis, promote schedule arrangement, deliver feedback to a cloud database and inspire consumers with games during training sessions, according to a company press release.

People with COPD can use eBreathe to monitor their respiration strength and set certain schedules for diaphragmatic muscle training with the iBreathe app and send data charts to their doctor for periodic check-ups, the company says.
