Philips Respironics has launched the SimplyFlo 8.5 pound Stationary Oxygen Concentrator, the world’s smallest and lightest stationary oxygen concentrator, according to the company. The device is part of Philips’ Right Fit Oxygen Product Portfolio.
In designing the new device, the company incorporated feedback from home care providers and patients to limit disruptions associated with the size, weight and noise level of traditional stationary concentrators.
Philips believes that SimplyFlo will improve compliance for nocturnal patients who may be refusing or resisting their oxygen therapy treatment.
