Young smokers may be more likely to reach for a cigarette when they are around people who are vaping, even when the vaping device looks nothing like a traditional cigarette.

So found a study examining the impact of passive exposure to second-generation e-cigarettes on the urge to light up among smokers between the ages of 18 and 35.

While first-generation vaping devices were designed to look like regular cigarettes, second-generation vaporizers look more like ballpoint pens and are even called “vaping pens.”
