ndd Medical Technologies Inc
The EasyOne Air portable spirometer from ndd Medical can be used either as a standalone device in an office setting or at the bedside. Results are calculated, displayed, and stored directly on the device. It also integrates with PC software. (See image above.)

Morgan Scientific’s ComPAS Enterprise PFT Software provides HIPAA-compliant patient information sharing, a task manager to access and view data, interpret results and send electronic messages to colleagues from any computer. The ComPAS Task Manager provides data exchange across a hospital network. When tests are completed in the pulmonary lab, results can be routed to any network-connected station for physician interpretation.
Cosmed USA Inc
Cosmed’s microQuark is a PC-based spirometer for lung function screening. The included Omnia software allows for tests including, forced/slow vital capacity, maximum voluntary ventilation, respiratory pattern, bronchial challenge test (pre-post), and bronchodilator test.
Micro Direct Inc
Micro Direct’s MicroLab spirometer with integral printer and touch screen color display offers easy to use, complete spirometry in a portable package. Some of the many features include ATS/ERS standards compliant, on-screen test quality prompts, confirming diagnostic interpretation, post bronchodilator comparison, low cost disposables, an optional PC software for data storage and PDF report generation.
The Micro I Spirometer by Micro Direct provides low cost precision spirometry measurements. The device measures the following parameters: FEV1, FVC, PEF, FEF25-75, FEV6, FEV1/FVC, FEV1/FEV6, and FEF25, which can be displayed with percent predicted and post bronchodilator comparisons. The portable device is suitable for remote testing for use in hospital outreach clinics, bedside screenings, and health fair screenings.
MGC Diagnostics introduces Ascent cardiorespiratory diagnostics software for pulmonary function testing. Ascent provides an easy way to collect, access and review data.
Vitalograph offers the Micro Spirometer, a handheld spirometer packed with features including full color touch screen, icon-driven menu and highly accurate and robust pneumotachometer flow sensor technology. Available is an optional remote flow head attachment which allows the patient to handle the cleanable flow head while the therapist holds the device for better viewing of the loops and data, and better hygiene.
